FORESTADENT BioLingual® archwires are specially designed for lingual treatment. The round archwires are made from nickel-titanium and thanks to their thermo-active properties develop their full force level only at body temperature. This also makes ligating the archwires an easy task. BioLingual® archwires are very elastic and only transfer low forces to the teeth that need to be moved. Their unique smooth surface reduces the friction between the archwire and bracket, which allows for efficient and quicker treatments. BioLingual® archwires are offered in mushroom shape. To guarantee the perfect fit of the archwire, more than 200 jaws were digitally recorded for the determination of the optimal mushroom shape and assessed according to their dental arch form. 6 arch forms are available currently. Gentle tooth movement and remodelling processes through low forces. Perfect fit thanks to mushroom shape. Efficient, fast treatment thanks to very low friction values. Easy ligation thanks to thermo-active properties, which only activate the archwires at mouth temperature (from approx. 32 °C)
